He pursued his B.A., M.Α. (Sociology) and B.Ed. in Betul. He has keen interest in sports, music, literature and teaching from an early age. His writing skills are profound and his articles on contemporary issues are regularly published in various newspapers and magazines. From 1989 to 2018, he worked as a government teacher. In 1980, he received spiritual guidance from Acharya Shriram Sharma, the founder of the Gayatri Pariwar. In 1984, he joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and voluntarily worked in social-cultural organisations. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Betul-Harda-Harsud (Madhya Pradesh) constituency under the Bharatiya Janata Party. Since then, he is continuously engaged in public service.
